Tlatah Bocah is a network of communities that attempt to provide children-friendly spaces that enable children to preserve their local wisdom and to get opportunities to participate actively in the development of their society and environment. This network's learning-by-doing approach enforces the children to improve their sensitivity towards social realities. Tlatah Bocah is fully supported by the society in which every neighborhood's art community and their traditions (including rituals) become essential elements in maintaining the network.
One of the ways to keep the spirit is by conducting an annual Children Art Festival since 2007. It also becomes a media platform to promote children's rights, diversity, tolerance awareness, and local wisdom.
