Ho Shih Phin is a well-known theatre director with numerous works. He is the four time winner who won the title of Best Director at the Malaysia Chinese Theater ADA Drama award. He has been declared as a master storyteller in a comprehensive way both in context and technique, especially an expert in stage blocking. He cares about the links between people, society, the nation with theatre, and constantly relates to current issues through culture and humanity in his work. In 1993, he began to form a theater teaching committee with friends and committed to promote drama education in high school by running around the country to organize school camps and workshops. Since 2006, he became a lecturer at New Era University College to train and educate theatre professionals. He has been active in theatre more than 25 years and is also the Vice Chairman of the Drama Art Community Association.
