Ricky is an artist-teacher, choreographer and director. His theater practice started in 2006 with the Youth Advocates Through Theater Arts (YATTA) and is currently its president. He has been involved in several productions as a performer, stage manager, scriptwriter, choreographer, production designer and director, and undergone training from the multi-awarded Philippine Educational Theater Association which gave him the opportunity to work with children, young people and communities. Ricky has also receiving training organized by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) in the fields of dance, stage productions and festivals.
